In 2009, the company received the Excellence Award at the International Design Excellence Award and Top XII (arc DESIGN) at the Museum of Modern Art in São Paulo, Brazil. The Proxima trekking hook, produced by Sammi and designed by Davide Montanaro of Studiodsgn, was included in the prestigious ADI Design Index, the annual selection of the best Italian design products, allowing Sammi Export to be selected for the 20th Compasso D’Oro Award.

In 2017, Sammi Export received the prestigious Honorable Mention for the ADI Compasso D’Oro, for a new line of hooks developed in collaboration with Bertone Design.

Thanks to contributions from renowned designers, stylists, and industrial designers, including Giorgetto Giugiaro—named ‘Designer of the Century’ in Las Vegas and founder of Giugiaro Design, which signed Sammi’s historic collections—the company confirms itself as a leading international player and ideal partner.

Recently, the collaboration with the “Bertone Design” studio, another historic name in Italian design, has led to a collection that marked a further aesthetic and functional breakthrough in the world of metal components for footwear.
